artist statement:

During my projects I am drawn to work that dealt with architecture and space. Architecture and architectural fragments are a vital source of inspiration in all of my works: video, paintings and drawings.

In the past I dealt with this topic in many different ways – from the depiction of free standing buildings as a motive for many of my paintings I moved to a more abstract definition of space.

On one hand space is for me something external that surrounds us, on the other hand space is also something that closely connected to our subjective experience and personal life and can be thus also considered as internal.
